Sold-price access explained

What sold information can you see—and why is some of it masked?

The public property search displays the information the current MLS® feed permits for an anonymous visitor. Some sold addresses and prices are masked until sign-in because the feed applies board, brokerage and account-access rules.

01

What is shown publicly

Active listings and any sold information approved for public display appear in the current Lofty search portal. If a card shows an undisclosed address or masked price, the website does not have permission to reveal that field in the anonymous view.

02

What sign-in changes

A free account may unlock additional sold information where the MLS® feed permits it. Signing in does not guarantee that every historical sale, address or field will be available, and the site will not describe the feed as complete when it is not.

03

The useful alternative

For a buying, selling or valuation decision, ask William for a property-specific sold comparison. He can identify the relevant comparables, explain important differences and distinguish a nearby sale from a meaningful one.

  • Relevant recent sales
  • Current competing listings
  • Condition, location and property-type adjustments
  • A direct explanation of the limits of the available data
